Plans for Pastors

1]  Revival and reformation emphasis for pastors and pastors’ family

Foster the following:

  • Personal revival and reformation

  •  Revival and reformation of family members

  • Revival and reformation emphasis in pastors’ ministries [with the intent that revival and reformation become practical realities among our members]

 

2] Ministerial Secretary to visit pastors and their families 

                 -    Pastoral visits of pastors and their families

 

3] Telephone calls, dialogue and prayer with pastors

                -     An avenue to provide mentorship, encouragement, counsel and to keep the revival and reformation emphasis in focus

                 -    The benefits of God’s responses to prayer

 

4] Grenada Conference Ministerial Connection

               -  Inspired by Caribbean Union Conference Ministerial Connection [Connection with Ministerial Secretaries]

                - A local version to connect monthly online with local pastors

                - A means through which the department keeps connected to pastors on relevant ministerial matters [ keeping revival and reformation in focus, notices, reminders, etc ]               

              - Monthly note of appreciation and affirmation of a particular pastor and his ministry [Boost the morale of the pastor[s]

 

5] The Observance of Pastor Appreciation Month [October]

                 - To be observed annually by the Ministerial Department

                 - To foster its observance by members and churches

                

6]  Collaborate with Ministerial Association Executive Committee

                  -Training for pastors

                  -Empowering for pastors

                  -Programs for pastors and pastors’ family

 

  7] To have a Ministerial Secretary slot during Ministerial Association meetings

                  -Address and discuss relevant ministerial related issues

                  -That pastors be together on addressing relevant matters among our congregations

 

8] To have a good working relationship with the leadership of the Shepherdess Association

 

9] To help in facilitating the Continuing Education program for pastors
