Plans for Stewardship, Planned Giving and Trust Services Departments

 

 

Quadrennium 2015 – 2019

 

 

Plans

1] To make the Stewardship and Trust Services Departments at the conference level stronger, more significant and relevant

 

2] Work towards

                  -spiritual revival and reformation of church members

                  -realizing greater faithfulness and manifestation of such as stewards of the blessings of God

                  -realizing sustained increase in the receipt of tithes and offering

                  -realizing increase in finance and property received for the cause of God

 

3] Training of Stewardship Secretaries

                  -Ideas and suggestions for a year’s stewardship program at the local church level

                  -Make the department stronger, more prominent and significant in the local churches

 

4] Provide Stewardship material for stewardship department of the local churches

 

5] Get feedback or report from stewardship secretaries on their work and results of it

                   -Keep them accountable and therefore active and responsible

 

6] Stewardship Connection

                   - Periodical online communication with stewardship secretaries to help keep the secretaries and departments active

 

7] Stewardship Revival Weeks [different from the annual stewardship emphasis week]

                  -At local churches around the conference

                  -To foster spiritual revival and reformation among members

                  -To inspire greater faithfulness and wisdom in managing the Lord’s blessings, bestowal and endowment [financial and otherwise]

 

8] Address issues of faithfulness and unfaithfulness to God, the source of our blessings

                    -Letters to the churches

                    -Stewardship revival week

                    -Communication with stewardship secretaries

                   -Through the Ministerial Department

 

9] Planned Giving and Trust Services promotion and presentation during stewardship revival week

 

10] Invite and seek to have persons willing to speak to director on planned giving and trust services related matters

                   -Seek to have a significant intake of finance and property and commitment to disbursing such to the cause and glory of God

 

11] Media program [radio]

                   -Stewardship related [“Manage Your Life” ]

                  -Multi-dimensional [time, health, money, life, body, blessings, etc. ]

                  -Biblical

                  -Evangelistic

 

 

12] Inspiring and empowering pastors, elders and leaders so that they become agents for promoting faithfulness as stewards and planned giving to the Lord in its various forms

              -Utilize departmental positions to help accomplish this

 

13] Support and help to facilitate the programs of the higher organizations

 

14] Incentive to foster high performance in the stewardship department of local churches [by extension the conference] and by stewardship secretaries

                -Stewardship Secretary of the Year

                - Tools of assessment: feedback, report and interview with pastors
